The Advancing Sustainable Provincial Investments for Renewable Energy (ASPIRE) project successfully conducted its Year 2 Project Planning Workshop on April 14–15, 2025, laying the groundwork for another year of impactful initiatives.
Day one was held at Labing Maayo Resto in Panglao, where the Project Management Team gathered to revisit the project’s framework, ensuring alignment with overarching goals. Discussions also centered on refining the project implementation strategy. Administrative and financial concerns were also addressed, ensuring smooth operational flow.

On Day 2, the workshop continued at Just Sizzling Resto in Tagbilaran City, where members of the BANGON Board of Trustees/ASPIRE Steering Committee convened. The session built upon the previous day’s discussions, focusing on strategic alignment, collaborative decision-making, and establishing a detailed timeline, crucial for the efficient and effective execution of activities. The gathering also provided a platform for open dialogue, allowing members to discuss emerging issues and potential challenges.

Discussions over the two-day workshop emphasized the need for adaptive strategies, transparent management, and clear timelines to meet project goals efficiently. Open dialogue and constructive input from all participants paved the way for a comprehensive and actionable plan. The collaborative efforts demonstrated by BANGON Members and the dedication of the Project Management Team are essential for the harmonious, effective, and efficient implementation of Year 2. With a strong foundation laid, the ASPIRE project is poised for continued success.
