As part of its efforts to strengthen the institutional capacity of member organizations, BANGON conducted the Organizational Development (OD) Training Series, starting with its first session on July 24, 2025, at the Kew Hotel in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. This session focused on three areas: Basic Parliamentary Rules and Procedures, Minutes Writing, and Resolution Crafting—aimed at reinforcing governance, improving meeting facilitation, and refining documentation within member organizations.

The event began with a welcome address by Francis Bernard I. Batoy, President of the BANGON Board of Trustees, who emphasized the importance of strong internal systems and the value of continuous learning for organizational sustainability and staff development. The training featured Mr. Bonifacio M. Quirog Jr., J.D., Ph.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol, as the speaker on Basic Parliamentary Rules and Procedures. Ms. Ruby C. Casas, Assistant Department Head of the Tagbilaran City General Services Office, led the session on Minutes Writing and Resolution Crafting.

Representatives from BANGON member organizations actively participated, including BIDEF, Inc., led by Francis Bernard I. Batoy; PROCESS Bohol, led by Aurelio S. Salgados, Jr.; IMAP Bohol, led by Corazon L. Paras; FCBFI, led by Virginia M. dela Cuesta; SWCFI, led by Regina Sagpang; and UBCDFI, led by Dr. Gloria T. Casabal. With this successful first session, the network looks forward to sustaining this momentum and continuing its mission to empower member organizations through purposeful and relevant capacity-building engagements.
